Terms

Terms of Service

Effective date: 4 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Telos. Please read them. By creating an account or using Telos you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Telos.

Telos is operated by Marcus Caminiti ("Telos", "we", "us"), based in Victoria, Australia. You can contact us at hello@telossystem.com. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.

The short version

1. What Telos is

Telos is a personal health and longevity tracker, available in a web browser and as an Android app. It lets you record and view information about your sleep, activity, training, food and calories, body weight, habits, supplements and other protocols, and blood test results, and shows trends and estimates from that information. It can connect to third-party sources such as Oura and Health Connect, and includes educational content in Learn.

Features may change, be added or be removed over time. We may also change the order, names and layout of features without notice.

2. Not medical advice

Telos is for information and personal tracking only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment, and nothing in Telos creates a doctor and patient or other health professional relationship between you and us. Telos is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, monitor or prevent any disease or condition.

3. Estimates, scores and educational content

Calories and targets

Calorie and nutrition targets are calculated from standard formulas and the details you give us, such as your age, sex, height, weight, activity and goal. Food information comes from public databases (including AUSNUT, USDA FoodData Central and Open Food Facts) and from estimates, which may be incomplete or wrong. Portions and labels vary. Treat all figures as estimates.

Blood results and scores

The Bloods feature compares markers to optimal ranges and combines them into scores and bands such as "Very good" or "Needs work". These ranges and scores are general, are based on published information and our own judgement, and are not a clinical interpretation of your results. "Optimal" ranges are not the same as the reference ranges your laboratory prints, and a score outside our ranges does not mean you have, or do not have, a condition. Your results depend on factors we may not know about, including medication, illness, fasting, training, hormones and the time of day. Discuss your results with your doctor, who can interpret them for you. The "ask your GP" prompts are suggestions only.

Protocols, supplements and Learn

Telos lets you record protocols, including supplements, and shows general information about them, including guidance on how people commonly approach particular markers. This information is general, may not apply to you, and is not a recommendation to take, stop or change anything. We do not sell, supply or endorse any supplement, medicine, hormone or other product, and a mention of something in Telos does not mean it is safe, legal, effective or suitable for you. Some substances need a prescription. Learn content is educational, is not exhaustive, and may become out of date.

AI features

Some features use artificial intelligence provided by Anthropic, including reading values from an uploaded lab report, estimating food from a photo, and Learn search. AI can misread documents and images, invent details and make mistakes. You must review everything it produces before relying on it and check blood values against your original report. You are responsible for the final data you save.

5. Cost

6. How you may use Telos

You agree that you will not:

We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.

7. Your data

You own the information you enter. You give us a limited licence to store, process, display and transmit it to the extent needed to run Telos for you, including sending it to the providers described in our Privacy Policy. We may also use data that cannot identify you (for example, usage counts) to maintain and improve the service. We do not sell your data.

You can export your data, and delete your account and data, from About Me under Data and privacy. Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Some providers may keep residual copies in backups for a limited time. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you want to keep.

8. Third-party services and connections

Telos relies on third parties, including Supabase, Vercel, Google, Resend and Anthropic, and can connect to services you choose, such as Oura and Health Connect. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them, for their availability, or for the accuracy of data they provide. Connections may stop working if the third party changes or withdraws its service. Connecting a source is your choice and you can disconnect it at any time.

9. Our content and intellectual property

Telos, including its software, design, text, ranges, scoring methods and brand, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Telos for your own personal, non-commercial purposes under these terms. We reserve all other rights.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you give us permission to use them without payment or credit to you.

10. Availability and changes to the service

We aim to keep Telos running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted, free of errors or always available. We may suspend, change or end any part of Telos, for example for maintenance, security or because a third party changes. Data can be lost or delayed. Do not rely on Telos as the only record of anything important.

11. Your responsibility and risk

You decide how to use what Telos shows you. You use Telos, and act on any information in it, at your own risk. In particular you accept that diet, exercise, fasting, supplements, medications and other health changes carry risks, and that you are responsible for deciding whether they suit you, ideally with a qualified professional.

12. Disclaimers

Subject to section 13, Telos and everything in it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we do not give any promise or warranty that Telos or its information is accurate, complete, current, reliable or suited to your purposes, or that any result, outcome or improvement in health will be achieved.

13. Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term, that you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law and that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified (a "non-excludable right").

If a non-excludable right applies, then, to the extent the law permits, our liability for breach of it is limited, at our choice, to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.

14. Limit of liability

Subject to section 13 and to the extent the law allows:

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence where the law does not allow it to be limited.

15. Indemnity

To the extent the law allows, you agree to compensate us for any loss, claim or cost (including reasonable legal costs) that we incur because you broke these terms or the law, or because of content or documents you uploaded without the right to do so.

16. Ending your account

You can stop using Telos and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we must by law, or if we stop providing Telos. If we end your access without cause during a period you have paid for, we will refund the unused part of that period. Sections that by their nature should continue (including sections 3, 9, 11 to 15 and 18) continue after your account ends.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For material changes we will give notice in the app or by email before they apply to you. If you keep using Telos after the change takes effect, you accept the updated terms. If you do not accept them, you can cancel and delete your account.

18. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the Commonwealth of Australia. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at hello@telossystem.com and we will try to resolve it in good faith.
